These Terms of Use govern access to and use of this website. Mark Colclough ApS is the website operator, contracting service entity and data controller. Mark Colclough is the therapist who personally provides the professional services described on the site. In therapeutic clauses, “I” refers to Mark Colclough; “we” or “Therapy in English” refers to Mark Colclough ApS.

Therapy in English provides information for English-speaking individuals and couples in Copenhagen seeking psychotherapy and relationship support. The website concerns psychotherapy, couples therapy and related services offered by Mark Colclough, where expressly available and agreed. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the website.
Some services may require a personal account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking unless a different arrangement has been agreed lawfully. You are responsible for keeping login information confidential and for information submitted through your account.
Submitting an enquiry, creating an account or requesting an appointment does not itself establish a therapeutic relationship. A service agreement is formed only when the request is personally accepted in accordance with the Client Policy. Changes do not retrospectively alter a confirmed booking or another contract already concluded with you. Where offered, card payments are processed through Stripe. The exact total is shown before confirmation. Payment-method terms are set out in the Client Policy and personal-data processing is explained in the Privacy Policy. Nothing on the website authorises a payment surcharge that is prohibited by law.
Service communications may be delivered through email, WhatsApp or Zoom where relevant and agreed. WhatsApp remains optional. Privacy and confidentiality details are governed by the Privacy Policy and Client Policy.
A masterclass purchase covers the complete package described at checkout: one complimentary 30-minute onboarding call, 3 two-hour masterclass sessions and one complimentary 30-minute follow-up approximately one month after completion. The package price is shown before purchase and payment confirms the complete booking.
Masterclass purchases are personal, non-transferable, non-cancellable and non-refundable after payment, except where a mandatory statutory right applies. All included sessions must take place within 90 calendar days of purchase. Booking an appointment before expiry does not preserve a session scheduled after expiry. Unused sessions expire without refund unless I expressly agree otherwise in writing.
The ordinary package-cancellation rules do not apply. Individual appointments may be rescheduled through the customer panel under the normal rescheduling policy and subject to availability. A late cancellation, missed appointment or no-show counts as a used session. Required exercises must be completed and returned before the following session. Appointments outside Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Copenhagen time carry the additional fee shown on the Pricing page.
These Terms of Use are governed by Danish law. Where reasonably possible, I encourage concerns or disputes to be raised directly first so we have an opportunity to resolve them informally. This does not limit either party’s statutory rights or access to courts or consumer remedies. Any dispute requiring court proceedings is subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
